Grey Matter was a project which was solely based on B.A.M.E (Black Asian Minority Ethnic) 
​
This project was supposed to target the majority audience who may listen/watch this podcast. Grey Matter targeted different aspects which occurred during the year 2020 and the black life's movement focusing on what the media was doing to stop racist attacks. So for example, film productions would need members of the B.A.M.E community within their production in order to win the Oscars. This could range from directors to actors.

During the production stage we had 3 stage actors; 2 Hosts, 1 guest. Amongst the film crew there were 2 camera operators which also organized the setting out of where the camera were supposed to go. There were concept artists along with floor planners however they were absent due to COVID-19 which meant that the production of the Podcast was going to be delayed.  During the podcast I was one of the camera operators and due to their not being any floor planners present, the 2 camera operators had to set up a floor plan that would work for the production. This included; 3 cameras, 3 microphones attached on the cameras, 3 tripods, 2 studio lights stands which were directed at the hosts.

The podcast has 4 different versions. 3 off which had 3 different guests(myself included). The purpose of having 4 versions was to see which one was better, each guest would be bringing their own opinion to the table and add it to the questions which were asked.
 
The last version was the best as the podcast relied on being interesting and entertaining to the viewer whilst at the same time learning what  B.A.M.E was with the questions which were on the table which were answered by the hosts. 
 
Post Production
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the entire shooting was done however we were unable to edit and finish the project due to not having the video files or software to edit from home. There were also issues with the files being corrupted so even the transfer of the files whilst at college was delayed.
